The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (OSPOLY) has announced a four-day orientation programme for all newly admitted ND1 Part-Time students for the 2024/2025 academic session.
This development was disclosed via an internal memorandum signed by Mr. Paul F. Olawoyin, on behalf of the Registrar, and made available to the public on Wednesday, June 19, 2025.
According to the memo, the orientation programme is scheduled to hold from Tuesday, June 24 to Friday, June 27, 2025, at the institution’s Education TETFund (ETF) Hall. The event will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The orientation is aimed at introducing the newly admitted students to the institution’s core values, academic regulations, and administrative structure to ensure a smooth transition into polytechnic life.
In order to foster full participation, the school management has declared the four days lecture-free for all ND1 part-time students.
“All ND1 Part-Time students are mandated to attend the orientation as a matter of duty. Attendance will be recorded, and failure to comply with this directive will attract appropriate sanctions,” the memo read.
Part-Time Coordinators have also been directed to ensure their students adhere strictly to the schedule and participate fully in the programme.
The orientation is expected to feature various sessions led by academic and administrative officers, offering students valuable insights into departmental functions, student support services, and campus safety protocols.
