About the Fellowship
Applications are now open for the 2026 Archivi.ng Fellowship — a six-month, fully funded programme designed for storytellers, researchers, and technologists exploring Nigerian history through archival materials.
Fellows will receive funding, mentorship, and publishing support to complete impactful projects that inform, provoke, and inspire public understanding of Nigeria’s past and its continuing influence on the present.
The 2026 cohort will explore the theme “The More Things Change”, a two-year inquiry into recurring patterns in Nigerian life — from policy cycles and economic trends to the untold stories of everyday people.
