The Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr, on Tuesday hosted a delegation from the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in Abuja.
The NDDC team, led by Directors Mr. Nwankwo Chidi and Mrs. Chinyere Ume, paid a courtesy visit to the Fund to deepen engagement and explore areas of mutual interest.
The meeting focused on building stronger collaboration between both institutions and expanding awareness of NELFUND’s programmes across the Niger Delta. Discussions also centred on opportunities for joint efforts that could enhance access to education financing in the region.
To support the talks, Mr. Sawyerr was joined by key NELFUND officials, including:
• Mrs. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, Director, Strategic Communications
• Mrs. Theodora Azinge, Deputy Director, Loan Allocation and Distribution
• Ms. Tosin Sanusi, Head, Investment
