The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that results of candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Thursday, 16 April, will be released today.
The Board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a post on X, stating that the results would be made available before midnight.
“This is to inform all candidates who sat for the 2026 UTME on Thursday, 16 April 2026, that their results will be released today before midnight. An official announcement will be made once the results are available,” he said.
The 2026 UTME, which commenced on 16 April, is scheduled to run until 22 April. The examination is conducted in four daily sessions, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m., a structure designed to accommodate the large number of candidates and ease congestion at Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.
This year, nearly 2.2 million candidates are participating in the exercise across 966 accredited centres nationwide. Each centre is required to meet operational standards, including functional computer systems, stable internet connectivity, reliable power supply, and adequately trained personnel.
