The Faculty of Law, University of Lagos (UNILAG), is set to honour the legacy of one of its former leaders as it marks the 20th memorial anniversary of Professor Jelili Adebisi Omotola, SAN.
Professor Omotola, who once served as the 7th Vice-Chancellor of the university, will be remembered on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
The commemorative event is scheduled to hold at 3:00 p.m. at the J.F. Ade Ajayi Hall on the university campus.
Activities lined up for the day include a Moot Court Competition, presentation of scholarship awards, and the official launch of the Faculty of Law Master of Laws (LL.M) Alumni Association.
The event goes beyond remembrance, offering a moment to reflect on the academic and institutional contributions of a former vice-chancellor whose work shaped parts of the university’s legal and administrative culture.
Members of the university community and the general public are invited to participate in the commemoration.
