Location: Ibadan, Oyo State
About the Role
A manufacturing company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior HR Specialist to join our team in Ibadan. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Human Resources practices and the ability to manage recruitment, payroll, compliance, and general HR administration.
✅ Requirements
First Degree (HND/B.Sc.) in Human Resources or any discipline; a professional certification (e.g., CIPM) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 7-8 years relevant HR experience.
Experience in Factory is a Plus
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HR software.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Gender: Male preferable for gender balance.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment
Manage end-to-end recruitment for various roles.
Source candidates via job boards, social media, and networks.
Conduct screening, interviews, and reference checks.
Coordinate with hiring managers and facilitate selection.
Handle job profiling, compensation, and benefits analysis.
Prepare job offers and ensure compliance with HR policies.
2. Payroll Management
Process payroll accurately and on time (Oracle or similar systems).
Calculate bonuses, deductions, and adjustments.
Verify attendance and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Maintain payroll records and prepare reports.
3. HR Administration
Maintain employee records and HR databases.
Support onboarding and orientation of new staff.
Administer employee benefits programs.
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives.
4. Compliance & Reporting
Stay updated on labor laws and regulations.
Prepare recruitment metrics, payroll summaries, and HR reports.
Participate in HR and payroll audits.
Salary Budget: 500,000 gross
