JOB TITLE: Sales & Marketing Associate

LOCATION: Hybrid — Lagos, Nigeria
JOB SUMMARY
We seek a dynamic Sales Associate with sales expertise, social media trend awareness, and consumer behavior insights. The candidate will engage leads from social media, manage basic paid ads on Facebook and Instagram, and convert prospects into loyal customers with effective communication and sales strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Lead Conversion
* Engage and follow up with leads generated through social media, ads, website inquiries, and organic channels.
* Conduct tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations via calls, chats, and video meetings.
* Build strong relationships with prospects by identifying their needs and guiding them through the buying journey.
* Overcome objections using modern sales techniques and close deals effectively.
* Maintain an organized pipeline of leads and conversions using Google Sheets or CRM tools.
Digital &
* Run Facebook and Instagram Ads to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
* Understand social media trends and implement strategies that drive engagement and inquiries.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze ad performance and optimize campaigns.
* Provide feedback on trending content, market behavior, and customer interests.
Collaboration & Reporting
* Work closely with the marketing and sales team to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, lead progress, and ad results.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions to improve sales approaches and digital growth strategies.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Sales Skills
* Strong negotiation and closing skills.
* Ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
* Resilient, motivated, and target-driven.
Digital & Social Media Skills
* Good understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience behavior.
* Ability to run Facebook Ads and Instagram promotions is a plus.
* Familiarity with digital communication tools (WhatsApp Business, email marketing, chat tools).
Professional Skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
* Ability to multitask and manage a structured lead pipeline.
* Tech-savvy with knowledge of Google Sheets, Excel, and CRM tools
QUALIFICATIONS
* BSc in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
* 1–3 years experience in sales or digital marketing (social media–driven sales is an advantage).
* Experience running Facebook/Instagram ads is required or must be willing to learn quickly.
* Prior experience in a hybrid or remote sales role is a plus.
