Job Description
Join the team dedicated to ensuring our physical campus embodies our innovative spirit! We need a detail-oriented, proactive individual to be mentored into a full Facilities Manager role. This is a hands-on position where you will learn the end-to-end management of a modern educational facility, directly impacting the quality of our students’ learning environment. You will initially support and eventually lead on:
- Operational Oversight: Coordinating and managing external contractors (cleaning, maintenance, security) to ensure the facility meets world-class standards.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implementing schedules for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems to ensure zero disruption to learning.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensuring the campus is fully compliant with all local safety and regulatory standards, prioritizing the well-being of co-learners and students.
- Project Management: Assisting in minor construction/renovation projects and managing resource inventory and utilization.
Required Skills:
- A strong academic background (HND/Degree) in Estate Management, Engineering, Construction, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- A practical, flexible, and innovative approach to work, with a keen eye for detail and efficiency.
- Willingness to learn technical maintenance fundamentals (e.g., HVAC, electrical).
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, beautiful, and inspiring environment that supports a culture of excellence.
