Growth & Community Manager
📍 Location: Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria
🏠 Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
💰 Salary: ₦500,000 Net Monthly.
About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Growth & Community Manager to lead user acquisition, activation, and retention while nurturing a passionate and loyal user community.
This cross-functional role blends marketing, product, customer success, and analytics driving sustainable growth through data, creativity, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Execution
* Develop and execute multi-channel growth strategies (organic and paid) to drive user acquisition, activation, and retention.
* Identify and optimize growth levers through experimentation, A/B testing, and funnel analysis.
* Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Data teams to optimize onboarding and engagement journeys.
* Monitor and analyze key KPIs — CAC, LTV, NPS, retention, churn — to inform data-driven decisions.
Community Building & Engagement
* Build and manage thriving online and offline communities across Telegram, WhatsApp, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Discord.
* Engage with users to foster connection, gather insights, and drive advocacy.
* Organize community events, AMAs, webinars, and user mixers to strengthen loyalty.
* Identify and empower community ambassadors and brand advocates.
Data & Insights
* Track and analyze user behavior and community feedback to guide strategy.
* Collaborate with analytics and product teams to measure community impact on overall growth.
* Use tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, and AI-powered insights for informed decision-making.
Content & Communication
* Partner with Marketing to create engaging, educational, and shareable content for users and prospects.
* Develop newsletters, product updates, and social media campaigns that align with the brand voice.
* Maintain consistent and authentic messaging across all touchpoints.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
* Identify and manage strategic partnerships to expand reach and unlock new user segments (e.g., Boat Club, Capital Club, Jet Ski Club).
* Collaborate with influencers, fintech thought leaders, and ecosystem partners to deliver impactful campaigns.
* Leverage existing merchant networks to develop niche to communities.
Requirements
* 3–5 years’ experience in Growth, Community Management, or Marketing — ideally in FinTech or a fast-paced tech startup.
* Strong grasp of acquisition channels (SEO, content, paid media, referrals, partnerships, etc.).
* Proven success in building and scaling engaged communities.
* Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
* Bonus: Knowledge of financial products, user behavior in emerging markets, or regulatory dynamics.
