Job Description

We’re Hiring: Learning & Development Specialist
Location: V.I, Lagos
Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Job Summary
As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing learning initiatives that support employee growth, performance, and organizational goals. You will work closely with team leads and stakeholders to identify skill gaps and deliver practical learning solutions that improve capability and engagement across the company.

Responsibilities:
* Design and implement learning and development programs aligned with business and people goals
* Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill and performance gaps
* Develop learning content, materials, and resources (workshops, sessions, guides, and digital content)
* Coordinate and facilitate internal learning sessions, workshops, and training programs
* Work with subject matter experts to deliver relevant and practical learning experiences
* Track, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of learning initiatives
* Support onboarding and continuous learning programs for employees
* Maintain learning calendars, records, and documentation
* Stay up to date with learning trends, tools, and best practices
* Support employee growth, career development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
* At least 4 years’ proven experience in learning and development or a related HR role
* Strong facilitation and presentation skills
* Ability to design practical and engaging learning programs
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong organizational and planning skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives
* High level of emotional intelligence
* Interest in people development and continuous improvement
