Job Title: Assistant Account Officer

Salary: ₦300,000 – ₦350,000 (Gross)
Job Summary
HRLeverage Africa, the Pan African workforce management company is seeking for a detail-oriented and reliable Assistant Account Officer for its client who is a leading brand in premium inbuilt kitchen appliances to support the finance department in managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with company financial policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and reports.
* Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
* Support the preparation of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
* Assist in bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow.
* Ensure proper filing of accounting documents and records.
* Support the senior accounts officer during audits and financial reviews.
* Assist with payroll documentation and expense tracking where necessary.
* Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
* 2–3 years of work experience as an Account Officer or in a similar role.
* Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good organizational and time-management skills.
