Overview:
Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) is pleased to announce the 2025 edition of its Post Primary Scholarship Programme. This initiative, part of NLNG’s commitment to educational development through social investment, is designed to support academically outstanding pupils from NLNG host communities in Rivers State.
The scholarship is fully funded and targets Basic Six pupils in public primary schools who have secured admission into select secondary schools.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must:
Be an indigene of any of the NLNG host communities in Rivers State.
Be currently in Basic Six and enrolled in a public primary school in Rivers State.
Be 12 years of age or younger.
Not be a recipient of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant.
Not be a child, ward, or direct relative of an NLNG employee.
Have provisional admission from any of the following NLNG partner schools:
Hallel College (Boarding), Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt
Archdeacon Brown Secondary School, Woji, Port Harcourt
Christie Toby Education Center, Iriebe
Scholarship Benefits:
The scholarship covers the entire cost of the recipient’s secondary education, including tuition, boarding fees, uniforms, books, and other related expenses.
Required Documents:
Applicants must upload the following documents during the application process:
1. Result sheets for Basic 4, Basic 5, and Basic 6
2. Attestation letter signed and stamped by the Headmaster/Headmistress (including their phone number)
3. Confirmation of indigene letter signed by the CDC Chairman or community chief
4. Local Government Area identification letter
5. Passport photograph (recent and without glasses, taken not earlier than January 2025)
6. Birth certificate from the National Population Commission (NPC)
