6. Prime Numbers Are Endless – There are infinitely many prime numbers, as proven by the ancient Greek mathematician Euclid over 2,000 years ago.

7. The Golden Ratio – The golden ratio (1.618…), represented by φ (phi), is found in art, architecture, and nature, creating aesthetically pleasing proportions.

8. Euler’s Identity – The equation e^(iπ) + 1 = 0 is called the most beautiful equation in mathematics because it connects five fundamental numbers: e, i, π, 1, and 0.

9. Magic of 9 – Multiples of 9 have a unique property where their digits always sum to 9 (e.g., 9 × 3 = 27 → 2 + 7 = 9).

10. Mathematical Proofs Can Be Very Long – Some mathematical proofs, such as the classification of finite simple groups, span over 10,000 pages!

17. Pascal’s Triangle Is Everywhere – Pascal’s Triangle has applications in binomial expansions, probability, and even fractals.

18. The Four-Color Theorem – Any map can be colored using only four colors so that no two adjacent regions have the same color, a theorem proven in 1976 using a computer.

19. Ancient Mathematics – The Babylonians used a base-60 number system, which is why we have 60 seconds in a minute and 360 degrees in a circle.

20. Mathematics Is Always Evolving – New mathematical theories and applications are still being discovered, impacting fields like quantum physics, artificial intelligence, and space exploration.

Mathematics is more than just numbers—it’s the key to understanding our world! Happy International Mathematics Day.
