Ile-Ife, Osun State – Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has announced the commencement of registration for its 2026/2027 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise.
According to a notice released by the university, registration for the screening exercise will begin on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, and close on Friday, August 14, 2026.
The exercise is open to candidates who selected OAU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 200 and above, as well as Direct Entry applicants.
The university stated that detailed guidelines regarding eligibility requirements for UTME candidates, Direct Entry applicants, foreign candidates, and persons with disabilities are available on its admissions portal.
OAU also disclosed that all candidates will be required to appear physically at designated venues for the screening exercise. Applicants were warned against providing false information or uploading incorrect credentials, noting that such actions would lead to automatic disqualification.
Furthermore, candidates are expected to check their screening schedules on the university’s admissions portal from Monday, August 24, 2026.
The Post-UTME screening exercise is scheduled to hold between September 1 and September 5, 2026, and candidates must participate on their assigned dates and times.
Prospective students are advised to complete their registration within the stipulated period and ensure that all information submitted during the application process is accurate and verifiable.
