The Female Scholars Foundation (FSF) has opened applications for its 2026 scholarship programme, offering eligible female students from public secondary schools in Nigeria financial support throughout their university education.
The fully funded scholarship is designed to support exceptional young women who have demonstrated strong academic performance and have gained admission to a public university in Nigeria.
According to the scholarship information, successful scholars will receive support covering tuition, books and living expenses throughout their undergraduate studies.
Who can apply?
The scholarship is open to female students who meet the following requirements:
– Must be a female student aged 20 or below.
– Must have graduated from a public secondary school.
– Must have scored at least 240 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
– Must have at least five distinctions, graded A1 to B3, in WAEC or NECO.
– Must have gained admission to a public university in Nigeria.
What does the scholarship cover?
Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship covering tuition, books and living expenses throughout their university education.
Beyond financial support, the programme provides scholars with additional development opportunities, including mentorship from industry professionals in their chosen career fields.
Scholars may also have access to international and regional internship opportunities through the foundation’s network.
The programme further supports participants through leadership and interpersonal skills development, including private coaching, webinars and group retreats.
