The Leventis Foundation Nigeria is a charitable organization committed to empowering youth and farmers by providing training in modern, sustainable agricultural practices and the responsible use of natural resources.
Since its establishment in 1987, the Foundation has played a pivotal role in agricultural training, operating six agricultural training schools across various agro-ecological zones in Nigeria. These schools, situated in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Osun, Kano, and Gombe states, are co-funded by the Leventis Foundation and the respective State Governments.
The schools offer comprehensive one-year training programs designed for young men and women eager to build successful careers in farming and agribusiness. Participants will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of agriculture, including agricultural value chains and farm enterprises.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
a.) Be physically fit.
b.) Ability to read and write in English (evidence of at least a secondary school leaving certificate may be required).
c.) Aged between 18 and 40 years.
d.) Pass both written and oral tests before final selection.
e.) Demonstrate a genuine interest in agriculture.
f.) Proof of a farming background is an advantage.

Applicants should bring the following documents on the day of the examination:
A handwritten cover letter.
A letter of attestation, signed by either the Chairman or Secretary of your Local Government of Origin, or a Justice of the Peace (JP).
Attach the following:
Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs.
Three (3) reference letters.
Photocopies of your academic qualifications or any other relevant documents.
