Ekiti State University has received a total of ₦897,140,250 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund for the 2025/2026 academic session to support 3,048 students of the institution.
According to details released, the payment was made on April 7, 2026, and covers tuition fees as well as other statutory charges for beneficiaries under the student loan scheme.
The disbursement is expected to ease the financial burden on thousands of students, ensuring they continue their academic programmes without interruption.
The development is part of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope education support initiative aimed at improving access to higher education through student financing.
