The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Board’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, who confirmed that candidates who took part in the examination can now access their results through JAMB’s approved result-checking platforms.
According to him, the Board has also begun preparations for the next phase of the admission process following the successful completion of the mop-up examination.
“Following the successful conclusion of the mop-up exercise and the release of the results, the Board will commence the ranking of candidates,” the statement read.
He added that the printing of results for admission purposes is expected to begin before the end of the week.
Benjamin expressed appreciation to candidates, parents, and stakeholders for their patience and cooperation throughout the examination process.
The mop-up examination, held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, was organized as a final opportunity for candidates who were originally scheduled for the main UTME but were unable to sit for the exam due to biometric verification issues, technical glitches, or other disruptions at designated centres.
The main 2026 UTME took place between April 16 and April 25, 2026.
