Addressing graduates, Prof. Isaiah I.C. Wakindiki, Vice-Chancellor and CEO, highlighted the University’s continued focus on innovation-centred learning that aligns with Kenya’s evolving labour market demands.

“This year’s graduates embody the spirit of innovation and resilience. They leave here empowered with the skills and values required to elevate industries and make meaningful contributions to society. At KCAU, we are committed to nurturing graduates who not only adapt to change but also lead it,” he said.

The ceremony also showcased the University’s growing international presence, with students representing countries across East, West and Southern Africa, underscoring KCAU’s expanding multicultural academic environment.

Council Chairperson Sitoyo Lopokoiyit, CBS, reaffirmed the University Council’s dedication to maintaining high standards of governance and academic excellence.

“We are confident that the graduates presented today reflect the mission and vision of this institution. Earlier this year, the Council approved the 2024–2028 Strategic Plan, positioning KCAU for enhanced innovation, strong partnerships and sustained academic excellence,” he noted.

Presiding over the ceremony, Chancellor FCPA Dr Martin Oduor Otieno, CBS, urged graduates to be bold, innovative and purpose-driven as they transition into professional life.

> “Innovation begins with curiosity and a willingness to solve real problems. As you progress in your careers, uplift others and make a meaningful impact wherever you go. Kenya and the world need leaders of integrity and purpose, and today we proudly release such leaders,” he said.

The 19th Graduation Ceremony represents another key step in KCA University’s journey towards global relevance, academic excellence, and societal impact. With a renewed strategic plan and a diverse, dynamic student body, the institution remains committed to preparing graduates who are ready to transform industries and communities.
