The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has disbursed a total of ₦1,252,700 to 10 students of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the institution, the payment, made on April 13, 2026, covers tuition and other statutory charges levied by the school.
The disbursement is aimed at easing the financial burden on beneficiaries and ensuring that the affected students continue their academic programmes without interruption.
The institution noted that the intervention aligns with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda in the education sector, which seeks to improve access to higher education through financial support initiatives.
NELFUND was established to provide financial assistance to eligible Nigerian students in tertiary institutions across the country, enabling them to pursue their education regardless of economic challenges.
