The Division of Agricultural Colleges, Ahmadu Bello University, has received a major disbursement from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the 2025/2026 academic session to support students’ institutional fees.
According to the announcement, a total sum of ₦7,131,400 was paid on March 31, 2026, covering 178 students enrolled across the college.
The disbursement is expected to ease the financial burden on beneficiaries by covering tuition-related and statutory charges, thereby allowing them to continue their academic programmes without interruption.
Officials described the intervention as part of ongoing efforts to expand access to higher education and provide students with the needed financial support to complete their studies successfully.
The payment aligns with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda aimed at improving educational opportunities and reducing financial barriers for students across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
