The Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare, Bauchi State, has received a major disbursement from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for 2,602 successful student loan applicants for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the institution, a total sum of ₦630,525,000 was paid on April 27, 2026, covering academic and statutory charges for the beneficiaries.
The intervention is expected to ease the financial burden on students and ensure uninterrupted academic activities for thousands of learners under the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda.
University authorities described the development as a significant boost to access to higher education, noting that the support would enable students to focus on their studies without financial constraints.
