The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has further extended the deadline for prospective Direct Entry (DE) candidates to complete and submit their applications for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The university announced that the new deadline is Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
The extension applies to candidates who are yet to complete their Direct Entry applications through the university’s admission portal.
In a notice signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs V. Abosede Wickliffe, the university urged prospective candidates to take advantage of the additional time provided to complete and submit their applications.
UNILAG advised applicants to ensure that their applications are properly completed and submitted on or before the new deadline.
The latest extension provides prospective Direct Entry candidates with additional time to complete the admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates are therefore encouraged to visit the university’s official admission portal and complete any outstanding part of their applications before the October 6 deadline.
