Talata Mafara, Zamfara State — Zamfara State University, Talata Mafara, has received a substantial disbursement of ₦107,541,500 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The funds, credited on December 19, 2025, are designated to cover the statutory charges of 1,469 students of the institution, providing critical financial support to ensure the continuity of their academic pursuits.
The disbursement forms part of the Federal Government’s commitment to expanding access to higher education through the NELFUND scheme, which aims to reduce the financial burden on students and their families.
