Energy giant Shell has opened applications for its 2027 Global Graduate Programme, offering recent graduates and final-year students an opportunity to build careers in the global oil and gas industry through a structured three-year development programme.
The programme is designed to equip young professionals with technical expertise, leadership skills and practical experience through on-the-job training, job rotations, formal learning and personalised coaching.
According to Shell, participants will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute fresh ideas to address energy-related challenges and take on meaningful responsibilities from the start of the programme.
Applicants must be in the final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or have graduated within the last three years. Candidates for the technical graduate stream are expected to have backgrounds in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Control or Mechanical Engineering, while the commercial stream is open to graduates in Commerce, Business, Computer Science, Mathematical Finance, Data Science, Statistics and Quantitative Finance.
Eligible applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.20 and be legally authorised to work in the country where they apply.
