The OPEC Fund offers an Internship Program that allows students from diverse academic backgrounds to gain practical experience in an international organization. Interns are assigned to various departments depending on their interests, qualifications, and departmental needs.
This program provides young undergraduates and recent graduates the opportunity to:
Gain hands-on experience working with an international organization.
Understand the OPEC Fund’s vision, mission, and core values.
Build professional networks and develop practical skills.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
1. Be 19 to 25 years old and enrolled in an undergraduate program (completed at least 2 years) or graduate program, or be recent graduates (maximum 1 year since graduation).
2. Be fluent in English. Knowledge of Arabic, French, German, or Spanish is an advantage.
3. Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Demonstrate interest in the work of the OPEC Fund.
5. Work effectively in a multicultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
6. Demonstrate the OPEC Fund’s core values: Integrity, Empowerment, Excellence, Innovation, Community.
Internship Activities
Interns may be involved in:
Conducting research
Drafting and editing documents
Organizing information
Assisting employees with daily departmental tasks
