Job Role: HR Associate
Industry: Agriculture / Agri-Tech
Location: Nigeria
Work Mode: Hybrid
Our client, a growing agri-tech company providing innovative solutions across the agricultural value chain, is seeking a proactive and organised HR Associate to support day-to-day human resource operations.
Key Responsibilities:
l Work with departments to identify staffing needs, workforce gaps, and support planning for recruitment, onboarding, and talent development.
l Manage core HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, documentation, and exit processes.
l Coordinate performance management, support goal setting and reviews, and track PIPs, trainings, and competency development.
l Support employee engagement, culture-building activities, welfare initiatives, and internal communication.
l Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with statutory and organisational requirements.
l Contribute to strategic and cross-functional projects, organisational development, workflow improvement, and change initiatives.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
· 1–2 years of HR experience (generalist, HR assistant, or HR operations role preferred).
· Strong understanding of key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR systems or databases.
· Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Must be proactive, professional, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
