Movie outings this Christmas season are set to become even more memorable as Filmhouse Cinemas partners Studio 24 to give cinema lovers more than just blockbuster entertainment.
Filmhouse Cinemas, Nigeria’s leading cinema exhibition company, has announced a strategic holiday collaboration with Studio 24, the country’s most recognised photography brand, aimed at enhancing the festive experience for families, friends, and movie enthusiasts.
Under the partnership, moviegoers visiting select Filmhouse locations between December 20, 2025, and January 5, 2026, will have access to a festive Studio 24 photobooth, with complimentary digital photographs available to guests who purchase movie tickets.
The initiative blends Filmhouse’s immersive cinema experience with Studio 24’s reputation for high-quality photography, giving guests the opportunity to capture memorable holiday moments before or after their movies.
“This collaboration is really about elevating that holiday tradition of going to the movies,” said Winifred Wessels, Head of Marketing at Filmhouse Cinemas. “For many families, a cinema visit is already a special part of the season. Adding a Studio 24 experience simply makes it even more memorable by giving our guests something they can take away — a tangible reminder of the time they spent together.”
Echoing this sentiment, Head of Marketing at Studio 24 Nigeria, Shirley E. Onwumeh, said the partnership responds to the growing desire for meaningful, shareable memories during the festive period.
“December is a time when people want to create moments and preserve memories,” Onwumeh said. “Partnering with Filmhouse Cinemas allows us to bring that joy directly to movie lovers in a fun and creative way.”
The Christmas photobooth will be available at Filmhouse Landmark, Filmhouse Ikota, and Filmhouse Surulere. While all guests can enjoy the festive setup, movie ticket holders will receive one complimentary soft-copy image upon presenting their ticket receipt to the Studio 24 team on site.
Filmhouse Cinemas said the initiative aligns with its brand promise, “Your Ticket To More,” by offering added value beyond the cinema screen, while both brands noted that the collaboration is rooted in a shared commitment to promoting connection, creativity, and community during the holiday season.
