The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the 2025 Students’ Tax Reform Challenge, a nationwide competition designed to engage young Nigerians on the country’s new tax reform laws.
Winners will receive ₦10 million in cash prizes, alongside tech gadgets, internship and employment opportunities, training scholarships, and youth ambassadorship recognition.

About the Students’ Tax Reform Challenge
The competition is organised by the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee to promote tax education and constructive public engagement among Nigerian youths.
Objectives of the Challenge:
Raise awareness and understanding of Nigeria’s tax reforms
Promote balanced, fact-based analysis of tax-related issues
Develop a pipeline of informed youth ambassadors
Encourage civic responsibility and government accountability
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Undergraduate students in Nigerian universities, polytechnics, or colleges of education
Graduates currently undergoing NYSC or awaiting mobilisation
Participants may apply individually or through recognised student associations or clubs (tax, economics, accounting, journalism, etc.)
Entry Requirements
Entries may be submitted in English, Pidgin, Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba

Entries in local languages must include an English translation
