Company Description
Job Title: Head, Southern Region
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State
Reports To: VP, Omnichannel Sales
Salary: #600,000 – #800,000 (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
The Head, Southern Region is responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy across Retail, Bulk, and FMCG channels within the Southern Region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all sales operations (Retail, Bulk, and FMCG) across the Southern Region.
* Develop and implement regional sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
* Track sales performance, customer behavior, and competitive activity, providing insights and recommendations.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and effective execution of sales processes.
* Maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
* Represent the region in strategic discussions and cross-departmental initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
* 7–10 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Proven experience managing teams and delivering sales results in Retail, Bulk, or FMCG sectors.
* Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel across locations within the Southern Region.
