The Federal Ministry of Education has opened an online application portal for the recruitment of Technical Facilitators as part of a one-year strategic intervention aimed at revitalising Federal Technical Colleges across the country.
The initiative, announced on Monday, is designed to strengthen Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to the Ministry, the recruitment drive seeks to engage qualified, industry-experienced professionals with strong pedagogical skills to deliver modern, competency-based training in federal technical colleges nationwide.
The intervention is expected to address Nigeria’s critical skills gap by improving both practical and theoretical instruction, while ensuring technical education becomes more responsive to evolving labour market demands.
In a statement signed by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Folasade Boriowo, the Ministry emphasised that the selection process would be transparent, rigorous, and merit-based. It clarified that submitting an application does not automatically guarantee selection.
Interested applicants have been directed to complete the official online form through the Ministry’s designated portal.
The application portal will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to repositioning Federal Technical Colleges as centres of excellence for skills development, innovation, and workforce readiness.
