Description:

• To lead and manage the overall operations, commercial performance, and service delivery of the travel agency by driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and delivering excellent customer experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily agency operations including reservations, ticketing, and customer service activities
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability torgets
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate travel consultants and operational staff
• Build and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and corporate clients
• Monitor booking performance, pricing trends, and market opportunities
• Ensure compliance with BSP requirements, industry regulations, and company policies
• Approve complex ticketing transactions, refunds, and reissues
• Honde escolated customer complaints and service recovery
• Prepare periodic operational and financial performance reports
• Identify new business opportunities and partnership channels
• Ensure adherence to service quality standards and operational procedures

Key Performance Indicators:

• Monthly and annual sales revenue achievement
• Agency profitability and cost management
• Corporate account acquisition and retention rote
• Ticketing accuracy and reduction in ADWACM exposure
• Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution tumaround time
• Staff productivity and performance targets
• Growth in new business and market share.
• Functional Knowledgeable in these areas
• GDS systems (Amadeus, Sobre, Galileo)
• Airline fare construction and ticketing rules
• 8SP reporting and airline distribution processes
• Corporate travel management
• Travel industry regulations and documentation requirements
• Sales planning and revenue monitoring

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline
• JATA/UFTAA professional certification or equivalent industry qualification is highly required Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in travel agency or airline commercial operations
• At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role
