Rwanda’s Ministry of Education, through the National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA), is set to announce the results of the 2025/2026 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) and Ordinary Level (O’Level) National Examinations.
According to an announcement published by the Ministry, the results are scheduled to be announced on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
The announcement will provide an important update for thousands of learners who sat for the national examinations and are awaiting their results as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
Rwanda’s Ministry of Education has previously published PLE and O’Level results through NESA, with candidates able to access their individual results through the national examination results platform.
For the previous 2024/2025 examination cycle, 219,926 candidates sat for the PLE, with 166,334 candidates passing, representing a 75.64 per cent pass rate. At O’Level, 148,702 candidates sat for the examination, with 95,674 passing, representing a 64.35 per cent pass rate.
The 2025/2026 results are therefore expected to provide fresh insight into learner performance at Rwanda’s primary and lower-secondary levels.
How candidates can check their results
The results are expected to be made available through Rwanda’s official examination results system operated under NESA.
