AIIDEV Africa, a pan-African organization dedicated to sustainable development, is calling on passionate changemakers to apply for voluntary positions as Country Engagement Officers in all 54 African nations. This opportunity allows committed individuals to contribute to the continent’s transformation while building their leadership and professional capacities.
The role, which is primarily virtual, involves acting as AIIDEV Africa’s official representative in one’s country, advancing the organization’s mission by promoting its initiatives, fostering partnerships, and building a network of changemakers.
Key responsibilities include publicizing AIIDEV Africa’s programs, leading community engagement, representing the organization at strategic events, and establishing partnerships with governments, NGOs, and other stakeholders to drive sustainable development.
Eligibility and benefits
Applicants must be African citizens aged 25-40 with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in sustainable development or related fields. Leadership potential, a commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and fluency in English or French are essential. A reliable internet connection is also required.
Successful candidates will gain leadership and advocacy skills, collaborate with a network of global professionals, and become recognized representatives of AIIDEV Africa, contributing directly to SDG-related projects.
