CardinalStone Partners Limited is inviting passionate, analytical, and driven young graduates to join its Graduate Trainee Programme — designed to nurture future leaders in Nigeria’s financial services sector.
Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience across the company’s core business areas, working directly with seasoned industry professionals.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Experience: 0–2 years post-NYSC experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division in a numerical or business-related field
O’ Level: At least 5 credits (including English & Mathematics) at one sitting
NYSC: Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
Age Limit: Not older than 26 years old
Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills
Extras (added advantage):
Master’s degree
Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) certificate
Proficiency in Bloomberg and other financial information platforms
Strong Microsoft Office skills

Technical Roles
Financial statement analysis and company valuation
Due diligence on potential investee companies
Development of financial models across various sectors
Trade execution and portfolio management
Market research and investment opportunity evaluation
Asset allocation monitoring and portfolio rebalancing
Non-Technical Roles
Investment Advisory (Sales):
Advise clients on portfolios, sell financial products, and grow Assets Under Management (AUM).
Institutional Sales:
Manage and grow institutional client relationships (PFAs, insurers, fintechs, etc.).
Operations & Transformation:
Manage process improvement projects and streamline business operations.
Internal Control:
Develop and enforce internal control procedures and ensure compliance.
Trustees:
Draft legal documents, maintain client trust portfolios, and deliver professional investment advisory.
Legal & Compliance:
Draft company policies, enforce KYC/AML compliance, and liaise with regulatory authorities (SEC, NFIU, CBN).
Financial Control:
Prepare financial statements, handle IFRS reporting, and assist with regulatory returns.
Human Resources:
Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
