The Yale Peace Fellowship, hosted by the International Leadership Center (ILC) at Yale University, selects 16 rising leaders each year who are working on conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and reconciliation. Fellows come from diverse sectors such as civil society, diplomacy, politics, religion, and social enterprise. The program is designed for leaders at pivotal moments in their careers, providing skills, reflection time, and a global network to tackle complex peace challenges.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
Be accomplished in peace and reconciliation work
Have proven leadership experience and potential for growth
Show commitment to cross-cultural understanding
Be fluent in English
Be able to attend two in-person components:
International study trip to the UAE (Feb 1–5, 2026)
Yale University seminar in New Haven (Apr 13–17, 2026)
Programme Structure
Jan–May 2026: Bi-weekly virtual sessions
Feb 1–5, 2026: UAE study trip (Zayed Award for Human Fraternity)
Apr 13–17, 2026: In-person seminar at Yale University
