Eligible Countries: AllEast China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) is offering fully funded scholarships to international students for Master’s and PhD programs. The scholarship covers tuition, on-campus accommodation, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend. English proficiency tests are not required for certain applicants.

Eligibility Criteria
Non-Chinese citizens in good health
Valid academic degree:
Master’s applicants: Bachelor’s degree
PhD applicants: Master’s degree
Language Requirements:
Chinese-taught programs: HSK 5 (≥210) or HSK 6 (≥180), exemptions possible for prior Chinese-taught degrees
English-taught programs: TOEFL ≥80, IELTS 6.0, or proof of English-taught degree
Native English speakers are exempt
Required Documents
1. Passport copy (photo page)
2. Transcripts of all previous studies
3. Graduation & degree certificates
4. Proof of language proficiency (Chinese or English)
5. Acceptance letter (from ECUST)
6. Two recommendation letters (English or Chinese)
7. Non-criminal record certificate or affirmation
8. Statement of financial support
9. Foreigner physical examination form
10. Study plan (≥800 words) and research proposal (if available)
11. Supporting documents: publications, awards, certificates
Application Procedure
1. Register on the ECUST Online Application System.
2. Select: “Online Application → Self-sponsored → Master Student / Doctoral Student.”
3. Upload all required documents. Scholarship applicants should submit corresponding forms.
4. Pay the application fee: 600 CNY (via online payment or bank transfer; receipt must be uploaded).
5. Submit the application. Duplicate submissions are not allowed.

Master’s degree duration: 2.5–5 years
PhD degree duration: 3–4 years
Only one scholarship will be awarded per applicant
