JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE ROLE OF HR/ADMIN MANAGER
Job Title: HR/Admin Manager
Reporting Line: Managing Director
Job Overview: The Human Resources
& Administration Manager is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies, managing talent acquisition, employee relations, and overseeing administrative functions. This role ensures a productive and compliant workplace culture and manages office infrastructure and general administration.
Responsibilities
– Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices.
– Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, people management and retention strategies.
– Lead performance management processes and employee appraisals.
– Manage staff welfare programs, training, and professional development.
– Manage monthly payroll inputs, benefits administration, and statutory compliance
– Ensure legal compliance in employment practices and workplace regulations.
– Manage administrative services including facilities management, office supplies, and general services.
– Coordinate with other departments to ensure administrative support and HR alignment.
– Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
– Report monthly HR metrics and updates to the CEO.
Qualifications
• B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant HR experience
• Professional certifications (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) preferred
• Proficiency in HRIS, MS office suites
• Familiarity with HR analytics, reporting and Nigerian Labour Law
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Remuneration: Negotiable
