An Alumna of the Federal University of Technology Akure FUTA,Mrs Olusola (Shola) Alabi has been awarded the Prestigious honour of Member of the British Empire, MBE by King Charles III for service to education.
In the official Gazette for the Order of the British Empire published 29 December ,2025
Civil Division via Central Chancery of the Orders of Knighthood St. James’s Palace, London SW1, it’s stated that :
THE KING has been graciously pleased to give orders for the following promotions in, and appointments to, the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire: M.B.E. To be Ordinary Members of the Civil Division of the said Most Excellent Order: Olusola Oluronke Anike ALABI

OLUSOLA , who graduated with a degree in Biochemistry from FUTA in 1993 ,is the Education Director and Co-Owner of Exam Success Education Ltd.
Shola is a British trained Qualified Teacher BSc., PGCE. of over 2 decades in the private tuition business, who has devoted the last 25 years of her life to working with children, teachers and parents.
Shola is a best selling Author, has worked with children and supported their parents now for just over 2 decades, and counting.
She has worked with thousands of children both as a Classroom Teacher, a Middle leader and a Private Tutor in Inner London and Thurrock Schools where she has been graded ‘Excellent’ for her teaching by The Office of Standards in Education (OFSTED).
She is an active member of the popular Tutor Association (TTA) and a previous Chairperson of The Association of Professional Tutoring Centres(APTC) in the U.K.
Shola, who is always looking for opportunities to engage with teacher, parents & students, has been involved in Training Teachers with the University of East London and continues to act as a support & mentor to Teachers on a voluntary basis.
She is an adviser for parents and has a deep passion to equip, educate, support and inspire them and does this through her many created resources. She regularly speaks at Parent Conferences and runs parent workshops yearly.
Shola has been featured in various news outlets for her work such as The Daily Mail, The Voice, The Thurrock Gazette and The Mercury Newspapers. She has a deep desire to see children and young people mature into well balanced individuals who contribute to society and her proudest moments are when she sees the increase in confidence in her students as they achieve their goals.
