The Lagos State Government has officially rescheduled the 2025 Public Service Examinations, shifting the date from Tuesday, May 13 to Friday, May 23, 2025.
This was confirmed in a statement released by the Director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, who said the change was made to uphold the integrity and fairness of the examination process.
“This decision was taken to ensure the integrity of the examination process and guarantee a fair experience for all candidates,” Orunsolu noted.
The announcement, which was also shared via the state government’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, has prompted immediate reactions among prospective candidates. Many welcomed the additional preparation time.
Orunsolu added that revised dates for specific examination papers would be released soon through authorized communication channels. Candidates are advised to stay updated via the board’s official website: examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng.
He further reminded candidates to keep their registration information safe and to print their examination slips ahead of the newly scheduled date.
Appreciating the patience and understanding of stakeholders, Orunsolu assured that the examinations would be conducted in a transparent and credible manner.
