The Nigerian Education Loan Fund has disbursed a total of ₦434,574,750 to Ekiti State University for the 2025/2026 academic session, providing financial support to 1,340 students.
The disbursement, credited on February 23, 2026, is designated to cover tuition and other statutory charges, ensuring that beneficiaries can continue their education without financial disruption.
According to details of the intervention, the funding forms part of ongoing efforts by NELFUND to expand access to higher education and ease the financial burden on students across Nigeria.
The support is expected to significantly enhance academic continuity for the affected students, many of whom rely on such funding to sustain their studies.
