Students of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, have been given a two-week deadline to update their account details following issues affecting the disbursement of upkeep payments for the 2024/2025 academic session.
In a statement dated March 17, 2026, and issued by the Students’ Union Government (SUG), the directive applies to students who received emails from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) requesting corrections to their bank information.
According to the notice, the need for the update arose due to incorrect account details submitted by some beneficiaries, which has delayed the processing of their upkeep allowances.
Students were advised to log into their respective NELFUND dashboards to review and update their account information where necessary. The SUG clarified that students whose details are already accurate are not required to make any changes.
The union further emphasized that affected students must act promptly, as failure to correct the errors within the two-week window may result in further delays in receiving their payments.
The statement was signed by the SUG Public Relations Officer, Abdulmumin Aboki, on behalf of the SUG President, Senator Hassan Sunusi Kani.
Students are therefore urged to take immediate action to avoid disruptions in their financial support.
