The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has struck a landmark partnership with the Digital Learning Network, aiming to transform classrooms across Nigeria with technology-driven solutions.
The initiative, unveiled in Abuja, targets stubborn gaps in the nation’s basic education system by deploying digital learning platforms, training teachers, and equipping millions of pupils with interactive tools that make learning fun and effective.
UBEC’s Deputy Executive Secretary (Services), Tunde Segun Ajibulu, mni, said the project would “bridge learning gaps and arm teachers and students with vital digital skills for the 21st century.”
On his part, Digital Learning Network CEO, Thomas Larmena, described the collaboration as a “game-changer,” stressing that it would give Nigerian children a fair chance to compete globally in an increasingly digital world.
The event drew UBEC top brass and a high-powered delegation from the Digital Learning Network, a clear signal of both sides’ commitment to reshaping Nigeria’s education landscape through innovation.
