In a heartwarming display of excellence and sibling synergy, twin sisters Amarachi Hannah-Grace Onyemachi and Onyinyechi Elizabeth-Gift Onyemachi have made history at the University of Ilorin’s 40th Convocation Ceremony, both graduating with First Class Honours in Food Engineering.
Amarachi earned an impressive CGPA of 4.60, while her twin sister, Onyinyechi, followed closely with a 4.57, reflecting exceptional academic brilliance and determination.
The University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Wahab Egbewole, SAN, joined in celebrating their achievement, posing for a commemorative photograph with the duo during the convocation ceremonies.
Describing their success as a “remarkable feat of dedication and hard work,” the university community and the Deeper Life Campus Fellowship (DLCF)—to which the twins belong—praised the Onyemachi sisters for upholding the institution’s reputation for excellence.
Their story stands as a powerful testament to perseverance, teamwork, and the pursuit of academic distinction.
Congratulations to Amarachi and Onyinyechi Onyemachi—a shining example that indeed, two good heads are better than one.
