The Ministry of Primary & Secondary Education, Zimbabwe is leading a National Reading Strategy writeshop in Kadoma, marking a key milestone in Zimbabwe’s effort to strengthen foundational learning across the country.
The process, implemented in partnership with Education Development Trust with support from the UK Government, brings together participants working collaboratively to refine the draft strategy ahead of validation, with a key focus on integrating a numeracy component to ensure both literacy and numeracy skills are strengthened.
This initiative reflects Government’s commitment to improving learning outcomes through inclusive, evidence-based approaches that equip learners with essential skills for life.
