She encouraged the students to continue practising at home by purchasing the required materials and applying what they had learnt.
The training, held as part of the District’s youth empowerment initiative, introduced students to a range of practical skills including tie and dye, stool-making, bead-making, throw pillow design, and slippers decoration.
Students participated in hands-on sessions facilitated by experienced instructors and by the end of the workshop, each student had produced a unique craft item, reflecting their creativity and newly acquired skills.
The initiative is one of several planned programmes aimed at fostering creativity, promoting skill acquisition, and preparing students for opportunities beyond the classroom.
