Seventeen-year-old Nafisa Abdullah Aminu, from Yobe State, Nigeria, has been named the world’s best in English language skills at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals held in London, United Kingdom Edutimes Africa learnt.
In a post that has now gone viral on X
Nafisa outshone more than 20,000 students from 69 countries, securing the prestigious title and bringing global recognition to Nigeria’s academic talent.
Her victory has sparked celebrations in Yobe State and across Nigeria, with many hailing her as an inspiration for young learners nationwide.
