The African Union has officially launched the 2025 Pan African University Scholarship Program, offering fully funded opportunities for postgraduate studies.
The PAU Scholarships cover tuition, accommodation, living stipends, travel expenses, and research/book costs for selected students across Africa.

The Pan African University (PAU) is a premier continental university network focused on providing high-quality postgraduate education to achieve a prosperous, integrated, and peaceful Africa.
Young, talented, and enterprising African students from across the continent and the African diaspora are invited to apply for Master’s or PhD programs at any of the four PAU institutes.

For Master’s Program:
Maximum age: 30 years (male) / 35 years (female)
Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class Upper) in a relevant field from a recognized university
Certified copies of certificates and transcripts (high school & university)
Passport or National I.D.
Clear passport-size photo (2cm x 2cm)
Detailed CV
One recommendation letter from a former university lecturer
Names & contacts of three reference university lecturers (including email & WhatsApp number)
For PhD Program:
Maximum age: 35 years (male) / 40 years (female)
Master’s degree in a relevant field from PAU or an internationally recognized university
Certified copies of certificates and transcripts
Passport or National I.D.
Clear passport-size photo (2cm x 2cm)
Detailed CV
Two recommendation letters from Professors
3–4 page Research Concept Note (title, research questions, objectives, significance, etc.)
Names & contacts of three reference university lecturers (including email & WhatsApp number)

2. Provide a valid username and email
3. Confirm your email by clicking on the link sent to your inbox (check spam if necessary)
4. Create a password and log in
5. Open the ‘Application’ page and fill in your details
6. Click ‘Save’ and then ‘Finish’ when done
