The Government of the Slovak Republic National Scholarship Program (NSP) is currently accepting applications for the 2026 academic year from qualified international candidates.

✅ Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the 2026 Government of Slovak Republic National Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
For Master’s Students
Be a citizen of a foreign country.
Be currently enrolled in a university outside Slovakia.
Be a second-level (Master’s) student, or have completed at least 2.5 years of undergraduate study.
Be accepted for a study stay at a Slovak public, private, or state higher education institution.
For PhD Students
Be a PhD candidate studying or conducting research outside Slovakia.
Be accepted for a doctoral or research stay at an eligible Slovak higher education or research institution.
For University Teachers, Researchers, or Artists
Be invited for a teaching, research, or artistic stay at a Slovak institution authorized to conduct research and development.
Language Requirement
Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in one of the following languages: English, French, Slovak, or Spanish.

The scholarship provides financial support to cover living costs, accommodation, and related expenses in Slovakia.
