About the Nordic Africa Institute (NAI) Scholarship Programme
The NAI Scholarship Programme provides researchers access to the institute’s library, research resources, and a stimulating academic environment. It aims to foster knowledge production about Africa and strengthen relations between African and Nordic research communities.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates will receive:

✔️ Subsistence Allowance (400 SEK per day, approx. $40 USD)
✔️ Installation Grant (2,500 SEK, approx. $250 USD)

Eligibility Requirements
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:
✅ Full-time employment at an African-based university or research center
✅ Doctoral candidates currently enrolled in an African university and without access to international scholarships
✅ Postdoctoral researchers who completed their PhD within the last five years
✅ Affiliation with universities or research centers in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, or Iceland
